Missions Indigenous Australians
Our National Missions Support
Ps Max Wiltshire is the Field Director and founder of Australian Aboriginal Outreach Ministries. AAOM was started in 1992 and has grown into a national movement with churches in most states of Australia. Ps Max and Mereoni and their children travel the country to support and encourage the Pastors working amongst the Aboriginal people of this nation. They hold Effective Aboriginal Ministry seminars throughout Australia to give people a better understanding of ministry amongst Aboriginal people and also promote Aboriginal Australia as a valid mission field where people need to be trained and equipped for the task. Many people have stepped out in faith to go into full time ministry as a result of the EAM seminars.
AAOM provides national recognition for outreach among Australian Indigenous peoples. It promotes and facilitates training of Aborigines in their local setting in Biblical truth and practice, and in skills of communicating the gospel.
Another vital role of AAOM is the raising up of and assistance to Aboriginal workers and ministers throughout Australia.
Evangelism and church planting with a cultural sensitive approach is a key to the success of AAOM. Many Aboriginal communities have been impacted with the power of God through this ministry.
